Atkinson PTA has many exciting activities planned for the 2010-11 school year and we need a strong and active membership to accomplish our goals. Please see our web site at www.atkinsonelementarypta.org or the bulletin board for our mission statement and more information. Thru fundraising, our PTA provides funding for:

Library Books – Carnival – Student Directory – Field Trips – RIF – School Arts – Playground – Grandparents Day – Auction – Teacher Appreciation – Winter Social – PE & Playground Equipment – Ice Cream Social, and much more!

PTA meetings are generally held in the cafeteria the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 (check the FYI or the reader board for updates). You need to be a member to vote, but do not need to be a member to attend meetings. All are welcome!

Our dues are based on sliding scales for Annual Individual or Dual Memberships (2 adults). For each of our members, a total of $9 must be paid to National PTA and Oregon PTA. All dues raised above $9 per person will go towards our PTA general fund and help cover membership fees for others. Please join us in making Atkinson a special place for our kids!
