Planting Plans
These are the plants you’ll need for each garden (spring 2009). You’ll find them in the Multicultural Garden.
Three Sisters Garden:
- 1 Onion start
- 4 corn starts in 4 pots
- 4-6 bingo pole bean
- small sugar pumpkin (4-12 seeds)
Edible Seed Garden:
- Plant sunflowers from seed (1/2 pkg.)
- Calico popcorn 4 starts in one pot
- Maine yellow eye 3 starts in one pot
- Black valentine 3 starts in one pot
- Carioka 3 starts in one pot
- Lowe’s champion 3 starts in one pot
- Jacob’s cattle 3 starts in one pot
Stone Soup Garden:
- 1 Celery plant
- Carrot seeds ½ pkg
- Onion 2-3 starts
- Potatoes (in cages)
- Tomato 1 plant
- Basil 1 plant
- Majoram 1 plant
- Parsley 1 plant
Peter Rabbit Garden:
- French bean 1 start
- Cucumber 1 plant
- Cabbage 1 plant
- Potato (in cages)
- Parsley 1 plant
- Onion 2-3 starts
- Carrots ½ pkg
Salsa Garden:
- Onions 2 starts
- Evergreen bunching onion seeds
- 1 garlic (not available)
- 1 jalapeno plant
- 2 oroma tomato
- 1 cilantro plant
- 1 black valentine start
Roots Garden:
- Turnips 1/3 seed pkg.
- Potatoes (in cages)
- Carrots many varieties 1/3 seed pkg. of each
Pizza Garden:
- 2 oroma tomato plants
- 1 basil plant
- 1 oregano plant
- 1 garlic plant (not available)
- 1 cayenne plant
- Vietnamese Garden:
- Bok choy
